Email Failure Rate Logs Improved by Additional Tracking
We’ve added extra deliverability tracking for our messaging logs to improve the email bounce and drop count. This was inspired by an issue we discovered on icloud.com and apple.com domains being blocked by our messaging service's security provider. Messages now auto-mark FAILED on bounce or drop. We also set up internal email alerts for additional tracking on Bounced and Blocked events, with plans to refine by delivery code in a future sprint (e.g., alert on domain blocks, ignore “account does not exist”, etc.) The Messaging Session Report in our Insights platform will now have a more accurate count for failed emails.

Updated the ability to add phone number to an Insured Portal account
Previously, on the Manage Portal Users page of Insights, users could search for a portal account, click “Manage” under the phone number column, and edit any pre-existing phone numbers that existed on the portal user. Users were not, however, able to add a phone number if none existed previously. Included in this release, we’ve added the ability for users to add phone numbers to portal accounts if none existed previously. This is mostly helpful when adding an additional contact option for MFA sign-on.

Insured Portal Registration Link Expiration
This release implements an expiration process for Insured Portal registration links received in the registration email to activate their new account. Links will now expire after three days (72 hours) if the user has not clicked the link to complete the registration of their account. Upon deployment, all non-verified Insured Portal accounts will be set to Expired. CSRs can resend the registration email from Insights, which sends a new link and restarts the expiration timer. This is part of our ongoing effort to tighten our security and compliance processes.

Insured Portal Account Expiration
We have implemented an expiration process for Insured Portal accounts. Accounts that have not been accessed in the last 2 years (730 days) will receive an email notification advising them to log in within the next 30 days to keep their account active. If no login is detected, the account will expire, and the user will need to create a new account the next time they wish to log in. This will be an ongoing process that runs daily to keep all Insured Portal accounts current and to expire any that have not logged in for 790 days. This is part of our ongoing effort to tighten our security and compliance processes.

Bug Fixes / Client Fixes
No need for FOMO, we did a release that included bug fixes and client items but nothing exciting enough to make the release notes.

Policy Detail DOB display changed to birth year
To protect PII, we now show only the birth year instead of the full date of birth. Using an auto policy, find this on the Policy Detail page under Drivers in your Insured Portal.

Although Hash Browns scored 2 more votes in the semifinals than French Fries, the team, with a score of 8 to 3, decided that French Fries would reign victorious and be crowned King of the Potato.Expert Panelist CommentsJay: “Given that we rated against other "types" of fries (curly, waffle, etc), at base value, fries are boring. Hash browns offer a lot more versatility, specifically in toppings; think Waffle House! Hash brown casserole? All...DAY!”Anonymous: “I mean, because…it's hashbrowns. Yum! ”
